Which of these four facial types is best for you?

because once the skin has been neglected it is more difficult to improve its appearance.  Facial treatment and proper make up technique can help the health and attractiveness of the skin for a lifetime. The skin shows signs of age faster than any other organ of the body.  We consulted our friends at Bare & Pure Spa in New York City to learn about what types of facials they offer, and for their tips on how to take the best care of your skin!

4 TYPES OF FACIALS AT BARE & PURE:

1) 5D PARIS FACIAL 

This Facial treatment is best for people with normal, dull or mature skin, who needs a clean, fresh face. The 5D Paris Facial uses a new technology that decreases fine lines and wrinkles, lifts the skin, reduces pigmentation, brightens the complexion, eliminates all dead cells and helps generate new collagen, leaving your skin smoother, nourished and renewed.

The 5D Paris Facial can be done every 28 days and it can be done a day before any occasion without any extractions.  

2) OXYGEN INFUSION THERAPY

For people with sensitive, dry, flaky skin! This facial treatment starts with cleansing, toning and exfoliating with and enzyme + papaya complex, and finishes with an oxygen infusion using LED red light therapy.   This facial can be done once a month or twice a week for 3 weeks to meet clients skin goals. This process soothes skin, moisturizers and nourishes, refreshes, tones and tightens the appearance of pores, is high in antioxidants, and gives the complexion a healthy glow.

Clients can start this process 6 months prior to a wedding, 3 months or 1 month before depending on skin condition and goals.

3) LASER FACIAL

Best option for people with blemishes, oily and troubled skin. This treatment starts with cleansing, toning and exfoliation with Skin Scrubber, followed by a special Oxygen infusion Gel phase, and ends with LED blue light therapy.  This treatment process helps to remove harmful toxins, heal natural and stimulate the growth of healthy skin!

This facial is done once a month, and Bare & Pure recommends doing at least 6 treatments.  This facial needs to be done at least 6 months prior to a big day. 

4) MICORDERMABRASION OR SKIN SCRUBBER 

These treatments can be performed on their own for deeper exfoliation, and can be done once a month. Both Microdermabrasion and skin scrubber treatments refrain from using chemicals and are non-invasive. 

While facials are wonderful for undoing damage and giving your skin a healthy glow, it is extremely important to take care of your skin as best you can between facial treatments.  Bare & Pure also shared with us some tips for maintaining healthy, glowing skin.
