My Weekly Lo-Down: Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

Some may believe Valentine’s Day was created by Hallmark to sell more cards and others see it as a special day to remember how much your significant other means to you. For those who have yet to find their soulmate (like myself), today is simply a reminder that we are in fact single AF. However, I personally think of Valentine’s Day as a day that allows me to reflect upon how much love has impacted my life.

Growing up I was always that girl who would go to bed at night wondering when I would meet my Prince Charming and knowing the exact wedding venue I want to get married at by the time I was in middle school. In high school and college my one and only job was with a catering company working weddings. So when I was creating Beautini and trying to figure out it’s niche, naturally I landed at my passion for weddings and the company was born!

I have the honor to work with hundreds of different women and couples and hear each and every one of their love stories. I have listened to a ton yet no two stories are exactly alike. Some were set up by friends, many found each other through a dating app and others are too crazy of stories to tell. Listening to how they met and the way they love each other to the point that they have chosen to spend the rest of their lives together makes me tear up every single time (we have stacks of tissues at the Beautini office…). From the moment we meet with the bride to the morning of their wedding day, I have the honor of becoming a part of their love story. When you see the big day come together you learn more about who they are as a couple and what they stand for and knowing that they have chosen Beautini to be a part of that is simply amazing.

I truly believe that everyone has a soul mate and a love story is ready to be written for each of us, at the right time. I am a total hopeless romantic and do believe through meeting so many couples that you could absolutely find your soul mate anywhere; on the streets of NYC, during a work event, dates that you meet on tinder, or even on television! I am very patiently awaiting for my love story to begin as many of us single people are, but when you see how powerful true love can be, waiting a little extra longer is completely worth it.

Whatever your plans are for tonight or whomever you choose to spend it with, today is about celebrating all the love around us! Now I am off to my Galentine’s night 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day!
