Lo-Down: Miami

This past weekend I took a fun summer trip to Miami, Florida! I had a great time and wanted to share with you some of the things that I ate, places I visited, and where I stayed. Comment below some of your favorite places in Miami!

I stayed at this hotel during my last trip and it was amazing! It is right on the beach, so it obviously has great views. It has a fabulous pool and is the home to one of the top night spots in Miami, LIV. It is great for groups because the hotel really has everything you could need right on the property.Image result for fontainebleau miami beach

One Hotel

Similar to The Fountainbleu, the One Hotel is a more expensive Miami hotel, but it is amazing! It is right on the water and has a gorgeous pool deck. Totally would recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway!

Again, this hotel is right on South Beach. It has amazing views and is considered to be an “art deco hotel.” It has great decor!Image result for delano miami

SLS is a chain hotel (they have one in Las Vegas, Seattle, the Bahamas, etc). The chain is extremely nice and all of their hotels are top-rate. The South Beach location is no exception!

Shore Club

Still on the beach, Shore Club is a more affordable option that still has great views and excellent service. It is also just a short walk from shopping on Lincoln Road and all the nightlife on Ocean Drive.

Royal Palm

Another more affordable option that is still right on the water, the Royal Palm is less than a mile from all that Miami has to offer on Lincoln Road!

The Standard Spa

If you are looking for something on Miami Beach, I would highly recommend The Standard Spa. It has a beautiful pool deck that is attached to the ocean which is insanely cool! Some of the rooms also have decks that look out to the ocean, which are stunning.

The SLS Hotel

Inside the SLS Hotel are two amazing spots! The first is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Miami, The Bazaar by José Andrés. It has a great atmosphere and vibe and is right next to a great sushi spot, Katsuya. Katsuya has a really cool open kitchen with a bar that you can sit at, too. Another really awesome atmosphere.Image result for the bazaar by josé andrés miami

Prime 112

If you are looking for a great steak, look no further. Prime 112 is excellent! It is very heavy so I would suggest only going there if you are really hungry, but the food is soooo delicious and totally to die for!

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant! They have great prices and even better food. I couldn’t stop myself from ordering a second round! Behind the taco spot is a really cool hidden bar that is perfect for grabbing a cocktail after your dinner!

Tap 42 Miami

This place is my go to for a fun, chill vibe with good food. My friend from Babson College opened this chain and they are popping up all over the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas!

Wynwood Art District

A really cool place to go to take cool photos in front of the colorful walls or even just to admire the colorful walls! Would totally recommend stopping by!
