My Top 6 Chicago Pizza Spots!

I think that by now we all know how much I love pizza! (I mean, seriously though, who doesn’t love pizza?) Chicago is one of my favorite cities, not only to spend time in, but also to explore new pizza spots in. I have compiled a list of my top 5 favorite Chicago pizza shops for you all. I hope you enjoy and if you try any of these out be sure to comment below and let me know! If you have any other suggestions of good pizza spots anywhere be sure to comment those below, as well! 🙂

Lou Malnati’s

I know that I have talked about the pizza here before, but their deep dish cookie dessert pizza is out-of-this-world good.  I have been there multiple times and never been disappointed. It really is excellent Chicago pizza!

This was really good pizza, but it was not one of my favorites. I felt the need to try it because, well, I’m a pizza connoisseur, and don’t get me wrong, I did think that it was really good pizza, but I think that there are better pizzas out there and better ones on this list, too!

The Original Pizzeria Uno’s

This pizza was really good, but there is something different about their pizza at their different chains. To me, the pizza in Chicago was different than it was when I ordered it at their location in NYC and I think that I may have liked the NYC version a bit better. Nonetheless, it was very good in Chicago, as well as in NYC!

Pequod’s Pizza

Oh. My. Gosh. Totally to die for! Their deep dish pizza is nothing shy of amazing. I could seriously eat it for all my meals everyday. 11/10!

Chicago is known for it’s deep dish pizza, but if you are anything like me, then deep dish is not exactly your favorite type of pizza. So, for all you non deep dish pizza lovers out there, here are my two favorite restaurants that serve thin crust pizza.

Happy Camper

Happy Camper is known for their delicious pizza and camping atmosphere. The restaurant is made to look as though it is in a warehouse and has airstreams and tire swings to really promote the camping vibes. Their pizza is decadent! They have also been featured several times on “Eater Chicago.” Definitely a place you must check out on your next Chicago trip!

Terra and Vine

Another favorite of mine, Terra and Vine is much more than just your average pizza shop. They also serve various types of Italian-Mediterranean dishes and have a nice rustic-chic atmosphere with an open kitchen, a design that makes their restaurant unique from the others on my list. A must try in my book!

That’s all the pizza my belly can handle for one trip! I can’t wait until next time. Comment below if you have tried any of these pizza joints.
