The Lo-Down: Napa, California

A few weekends ago I spent some time in Napa, California. I visited a couple of wineries, went to some great restaurants, and did some other super fun things while I was there. Leave a comment below letting me know what your favorite places to visit in Napa are! :)

HOTELS

Calistoga Ranch, An Auberge Resort

This hotel is the epitome of luxury. Not only is the hotel located right in wine country and absolutely beautiful, but they also allow their guests to borrow Mercedes-Benz to be able to drive through wine country. Unreal!

Hotel Yountville

This hotel is absolutely STUNNING! They have great cabanas poolside and an amazing spa. The rooms are a bit more pricey, but you totally get what you pay for in the best way possible. Everything about this place is just awesome, including the location, which is always a huge plus in my book!

Auberge du Soleil

This hotel is so, so cool! It looks like an old mansion and is gorgeous. The pool and cabanas are stunning and relaxing to sit at. You could spend the whole weekend poolside and you still would be left wanting more! The deck that wraps around the hotel makes for a great lookout and an even better late night hangout spot!

FOOD + DRINK

The French Laundry

Chef Thomas Keller knows what he's doing. Although it is a bit pricey, everything on the menu is guaranteed to be absolutely delicious! It is also located in Yountville, meaning that it is super close to Hotel Yountville, which is great if you are looking to grab some great food quickly!

Brix

Brix is a farm-to-table Californian restaurant that is a bit more affordable than The French Laundry, but it is equally as delicious! Also, it has stunning mountain views that are a total must-see.

Redd Restaurant

This place has insane views of the wine country. While you are eating, either inside or outside, you have a beautiful view and delicious food. It is referred to as being "California chic" by many and totally is in my book.

Grace's Table

Much more casual than any of the other restaurants on this list, this restaurant is a great place to get something quickly for an affordable price. They also have a bar and wine list, which is always a plus!

Boon Fly Cafe

Another more casual restaurant, like Grace's Table, Boon Fly Cafe is much more affordable than most of the other restaurants on this list. Again, it is a great place to pick up a quick snack at any time of the day!

DESTINATIONS

Hot Air Balloon Rides

Obviously since we are talking about Napa Valley, wineries are the big tourist destination, however, they also have amazing sunrise hot air balloon rides. If you check online you can find a whole bunch of different places that will take you on awesome tours!

Here is a list of wineries that I would suggest you check out for your visit:

Robert Mondavi Winery

The Hess Collection Winery

Black Stallion Winery

Monticello Vineyards

Mumm Napa
