The Lo-Down: Toronto
I took a quick trip to Toronto this past weekend and had an amazing time! I wanted to share with you all where I visited and what my favorites were. Leave a comment below letting me know some of your favorite places to visit in Toronto! :)
FOOD + DRINK
Gusto Bucca
Touted as "southern Italian classics with a global twist in an industrial setting plus wine on tap." It lived up to its Yelp reviews and more! It was so delicious and had a really cool NYC vibe inside, which is something that the NYC gal in me loves always!
Lee's
A bit fancier and more expensive than Gusto Bucca, this place was excellent and had an amazing atmosphere. It is a French/Asian restaurant that kind of reminds me of Buddakan in NYC. Super yummy food!
CNE Tower Food Court
We went here one night while we were at a football game and the fried cookie dough was AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend! I'm still dreaming about it and might have to take a trip back to Toronto sometime soon for more...
Vineland Estate Winery
We went here after we visited Niagra Falls. It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of my usual city life and I loved the wine at this vineyard. Felt like I was right back in Napa!
DESTINATIONS
Football Game
Football games are always a blast, especially when you go with a group of your best friends like I did. I would definitely recommend going to a sporting event with your friends, it was such a fun experience.
Niagra Falls
It was a great day trip to go to Niagra with my friends and see the falls. Even though we went back to the U.S. for the day, it was definitely a part of my trip to Toronto that I won't forget!
I loved my trip to Toronto so much and can't wait to go back soon (even if it's just for those fried cookie dough balls)!
