Cocktails to Order To-Go in NYC
When thinking about how much our lives and lifestyles have changed over the past months our previous life often seems so far out of reach. Though, on a lighter note, the one thing I hope never stops is the state ruling to allow bars and restaurants to have cocktails to go!
Here are some of my favorite spots to grab a cocktail and now you can enjoy them from the comfort of your own home....I mean isn’t that the best!
Dante
If you're looking for some classic old school Italian cocktails, Dante’s got you covered. They have so many different kinds of wines, and Negronis on tap. You can also never go wrong with any of their martinis like the Smoke on the Water or Tuxedo No 2.
I also highly recommend ordering some food as well because it is amazing! You could order cheese and crackers, paninis, salmon, salads, roasted chicken and of course pasta. And if you’re looking to indulge try their tiramisu (it’s to die for)!
loulou’s
Located on the corner of 19th Street and 8th Avenue Loulou’s bistro and speakeasy is such a cute spot that I frequented pre-pandemic. The atmosphere is so cute and Izzy the bartender is the absolute best!
They have a wide range of options for brunch, lunch and dinner! Add to your carry out order any of their wines by the bottle or french inspired cocktails. Foodwise I recommend their charcuterie boards, flatbreads, the Loulou Burger and the Steak Frites; but, you honestly can’t go wrong with anything!

Craving a Spicy Margarita infused with jalapeno, agave and lime juice that comes with a side of free mozzarella sticks? Yes you heard me right, you have to order from Fiddlesticks. This is one of my favorite drinks here along with their Iced Irish Coffee or Just So Elegant Cocktail!
Make sure to top off your cocktail with their great Chicken and Avocado Sandwich and Fiddlestick Burger!
boucherie
With two locations (Union Square and West Village) Boucherie is an amazing restaurant. Once you step into this french brasserie you immediately are transported to Paris!
You have to order their aperol stand alongside any of their food options. I love their French Onion Soup, Rigatoni Bolognese or Bucherie Burger!
