The Best Croissants in NYC
It’s no secret that one of my guilty pleasures is croissants! If I could eat one a day I would, but you’d have to roll me back to my apartment. I’ve sampled a handful of croissants at bakeries across the city and thought it was time to spill the tea. With fall on the horizon, everybody loves a hot latte paired with a buttery morning treat.
Aux Merveilleux de Fred: My personal favorite is this spot, nestled in-between Chelsea and the West Village, it’s my neighborhood go-to when I’m craving a pastry!
Cei Cela Patisserie: Where the building façade is just as French as the menu. I love this bakery because it brings back memories of the petite bakeries that line Parisian streets. Not to mention, their almond croissant is to die for!
Dominique Ansel: A classic, NYC staple, Dominique Ansel is always delicious. It’s the perfect treat before hitting the streets of Soho or for a mid-shopping treat. Love it here!!
Patisserie Claude: My favorite part of living so close to the West Village is you could mistake some streets for Europe. Restaurants sprawl out into the streets and delicious bakeries waft the smell of freshly-risen bread onto the street corners. Patisserie Claud has amazing croissants and has been a neighborhood staple for 35 years!!
Bien Cuit: While I am a Manhattan girl through and through, I never pass up an excuse to head into Brooklyn for good food. If you find yourself in Downtown Brooklyn, their chocolate croissant will not disappoint.
